Anti-Fraud & Chargeback Policy

This Anti-Fraud & Chargeback Policy governs all transactions, consultations, product purchases, bookings, payments and interactions conducted through the OccultHope website. The purpose of this Policy is to protect users, practitioners, payment systems and the Platform from fraudulent activity, payment abuse, chargeback misuse, false claims and other forms of financial misconduct.

OccultHope is committed to maintaining a secure, transparent and trustworthy environment for all users. At the same time, OccultHope maintains a zero-tolerance approach toward fraud, payment manipulation, extortion, identity misuse, chargeback abuse and dishonest attempts to obtain services, products or refunds through deceptive means.

Users acknowledge that spiritual consultations, tarot readings, numerology consultations, astrology-related guidance and similar services offered through OccultHope are personalized, interpretive and digital services that require the allocation of practitioner time, expertise and resources. Once a consultation has been booked and services have commenced, such services cannot be returned, reversed or physically recovered.

OccultHope maintains records relating to bookings, consultation schedules, communications, transaction references, invoices, payment confirmations, service delivery records, customer support interactions and other operational information. Such records may be used to verify service delivery, investigate disputes and defend against fraudulent claims or chargeback proceedings.

A chargeback occurs when a user disputes a transaction with a bank, payment provider, card issuer, UPI provider or other financial institution after a payment has been completed. While OccultHope respects the right of users to raise genuine disputes, chargebacks initiated without legitimate grounds may constitute abuse of payment systems and may result in corrective action.

Users shall not initiate chargebacks, payment reversals or transaction disputes after receiving consultations, obtaining services, receiving products or otherwise benefiting from services provided through the Platform unless there exists a genuine and lawful basis for such dispute. Dissatisfaction with a consultation, disagreement with a prediction, failure of a prediction to materialize, dissatisfaction with spiritual guidance or personal disappointment regarding outcomes shall not constitute valid grounds for chargeback or payment reversal.

OccultHope reserves the right to contest chargebacks and transaction disputes using available evidence including booking records, payment confirmations, communication logs, delivery records, consultation schedules, support communications, practitioner confirmations and other documentation demonstrating that services were properly provided or products were delivered.

Where OccultHope reasonably believes that a chargeback, refund request or dispute has been initiated fraudulently, dishonestly or in bad faith, the Platform reserves the right to suspend user accounts, deny future services, restrict access to the Platform, recover outstanding amounts and pursue available legal remedies.

Users shall not engage in payment fraud, unauthorized use of payment instruments, identity theft, account takeover, false representation, forged documentation, manipulated screenshots, fabricated evidence, multiple refund requests, duplicate claims or any activity intended to obtain services or products without proper payment.

OccultHope strictly prohibits extortion attempts, threats of negative reviews, threats of complaints, threats of legal proceedings or threats of social-media campaigns made solely for the purpose of obtaining refunds, free services, discounts, compensation or other benefits to which a user is not legitimately entitled. Genuine grievances may be raised through the official grievance mechanism, but misuse of complaints as a tool of coercion shall not be tolerated.

Any user found engaging in fraudulent conduct may be reported to payment processors, banks, financial institutions, law-enforcement agencies, cybercrime authorities, legal representatives or other appropriate entities where permitted by law. OccultHope reserves the right to cooperate fully with investigations relating to fraud, cybercrime, identity theft or financial misconduct.

OccultHope may implement fraud-prevention measures including transaction monitoring, identity verification, payment verification, account-review procedures, risk-based screening and investigation of suspicious activity. Users agree to cooperate with reasonable verification requests where fraud-prevention measures are deemed necessary.

Where products are sold through the Platform, OccultHope may maintain delivery records, courier confirmations, shipment tracking information and proof of delivery. Such records may be relied upon in the investigation of fraudulent claims relating to product delivery or product receipt.

OccultHope reserves the right to withhold services, delay processing, refuse transactions or suspend accounts where suspicious activity, unusual transaction patterns, inconsistent information or fraud indicators are detected. Such actions may be taken as precautionary measures pending review.

Nothing contained in this Policy shall prevent users from raising genuine concerns, requesting lawful refunds where applicable or exercising rights available under applicable consumer-protection laws. However, users acknowledge that fraudulent conduct, dishonest disputes and abuse of payment systems may result in legal consequences.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, OccultHope shall not be liable for losses arising from fraudulent activity committed by users, third parties, payment fraudsters, cybercriminals or other actors beyond the reasonable control of the Platform.

OccultHope reserves the right to amend, modify, replace or update this Anti-Fraud & Chargeback Policy at any time. Any revised version shall become effective immediately upon publication on the website.

18.
This Anti-Fraud & Chargeback Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India and shall be read together with the Terms & Conditions, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Privacy Policy, User Consent Declaration and other policies of OccultHope.

By making a payment, booking a consultation, purchasing a product or otherwise using the services of OccultHope, the user acknowledges and agrees to this Anti-Fraud & Chargeback Policy in its entirety.
